CKEditor for Open Source Program Application

Before submitting an application, please ensure your project meets all of the following requirements for consideration:

Your project is open-source
Your project’s open-source license is incompatible with GPL v2+
Revenue is less than $2M per year, and/or total venture capital funding is less than $2M
Doesn't receive a majority of its funding from an organization whose revenue is over $2M a year

Please answer the following questions to the best of your ability:

What open-source license does/will your project use? If you plan to use CKEditor under the GPL 2+ license, you don’t need this program—you can simply register using the CKEditor GPL 2+ license registration form. This program is specifically designed for open-source projects that use licenses incompatible with GPL 2+.

How does your project sustain itself financially? Could you also confirm if your project qualifies as a FOSS project? (We're particularly interested in whether your project involves licensing fees, paid support, or relies on donations)

By submitting this application form, you are confirming that all information provided is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are authorized to discuss licensing on behalf of this open-source project.

We’d love to support your open-source project! Just make sure to give us clear and detailed info on your project and how you’ll use CKEditor. It’s fine to skip the GitHub link if your project isn’t listed there yet, but all other fields must be completed. Missing details might mean we’ll ask for a resubmission, which could slow things down. Complete info helps us review applications faster and give everyone a fair shot!

Please note that pro-bono, charity, or non-profit projects that are not open-source will not be a good fit for this program. While we support these valuable initiatives, this program is specifically for open-source projects.
